The Strategic Price & Promo Analyst operates in Marketing Department within the Revenue Growth Management Team (RGM). The RGM Team works on revenue levers to maximize value creation and is responsible for delivering optimal revenue, pricing and promotional strategies to support company’s category and financial objectives via a combination of ‘smart analytics’, effective collaboration, innovative systems and a clear strategic vision for best-practice RGM. The Strategic Price & Promo Analyst performs strategic studies and business analysis and has a supporting role in defining and executing company’s pricing and promotional plan. The role operates within a context of many departments.

Responsibilities

Price and Promo Strategy development

·       Upgrade Pricing and Revenue Management to drive revenue growth across CCH’s portfolio

·       Support in delivery of optimal pack-price architecture and pricing frameworks via effective use of insights

·       Support in driving optimal ROI and uplift across category for promotional activities

·       Effective implementation of pricing governance and compliance processes

·       Identifies pricing and promo opportunities to increase company’s volume and revenue

Market Insights

·       Works closely with Insights team to generate facts and insights which will support Price & Promo initiatives

·       Collects and analyzes information and insights on shopper, consumer, competition, etc. as required for robust Price & Promo strategy development

Strategic planning

·       Participates in Annual Business planning and Long Range planning processes as related to Price & Promo strategy

Tools and reports

·       Develops and applies planning and reporting tools to translate data into consistent and holistic performance reviews

·       Reporting and analysis on transactions/calories performance

Skills & Requirements

·       Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant discipline (Economics, Finance, Statistics or IT) with a minimum of 1-2 years related experience

·       Bright analytical mind, and comfortable with collecting and analyzing data

·       A fast learner and a good problem solver

·       Good communications skills (oral and written)

·       Good interpersonal, consultative and negotiation skills

·       Detail oriented and committed to a high level of accuracy

·       Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Access and MS PowerPoint

·       Language: English on Upper-Intermediate level and above
